After attachment teleconverter get 140-400mm f5.6 . The sample images taken with Canon 40D and handheld, because I not have tripod
First image without TC, 200mm center crop:
With TC 2x, 400mm center crop:
Image quality at f5.6 acceptable but far, far to perfect. After f7.1 begins to wake up, at f8 it’s OK, but still far to perfect compared with prime lens. No focusing problem, high speed & accurate work, reading in several forums focus problem with TC 2x, but I not observed problem. I think TC 2x is a good choice who want to have double focal length in 234 gram.
